I was born in Pittsburgh and attended University of Pittsburgh and received BA in Medical Technology and a BA in Political Science and continued on to receive my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the same campus in 1989. Following Dental School, I worked as an associate dentist in Sarver, PA. Following that experience, I left the private sector to become a dental officer in the dental corps of the the US Air Force during the Desert Shield/Desert Storm period (1990-1993). At that time I was stationed at George AFB near Victorville and Travis AFB in Fairfield.
Upon leaving the service, I worked at a number of dental offices as an associate and learned a great deal about what works.
