Dr. Buchanan was born and raised in the small community of AuGres, Michigan. After receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in biology at Wayne State University, she completed four years of postgraduate education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She began her practice of dentistry in Bay City with Health Delivery, Inc. in 2004, a very active federally funded community health center treating and educating those of the underserved population.
