I was born on April 18th, 1951 and grew up in Waunakee, Wisconsin. I have two older sisters Randa and Mary, and a younger brother Connor who departed at 19 yrs of age. I am very proud to be a third generation dentist. My grandfather Dr. Simon Bakke practiced in Deforest Wisc.(1882-1963). My father Dr. Knight J. Bakke practiced in Waunakee, Wisc. with distinction for 35 years. He was a past President of the Dane County Dental Society and a Waunakee school board member amongst many other distinguishing honors.
While in high school I acquired nine varsity letters in four different sports (football (4), basketball (2), baseball (2) and golf (1)).
